2. How is electronic data destroyed?
We use industry-standard data destruction methods, including:

Secure data wiping - NIST Standard SP800-88

Physical shredding of hard drives and storage devices
- Hard Drive Degaussing
3. Do you provide certificates of data destruction?
Yes! We do provide certificates of destruction for your records.
4. What happens to the recycled electronics?
We follow a strict no-landfill policy. Recycled electronics are processed and repurposed responsibly. We follow strict standards
5. Is there a cost for recycling electronics?
We offer complimentary pick-ups for most electronics electronics recycling customers. For larger quantities, additional services or specialized items, please contact us for details.
6. Do you offer pick-up services?
Yes! We provide pick-up services for companies in most states.
7. Are there any items you don’t accept?
Refer to question #1 for a list of items we do not accept.
8. Do you comply with environmental regulations?
Yes! We comply with all local and federal regulations and hold certifications for responsible recycling. We are R2v3 Certified, NAID Certified and RIOS Certified. We also provide impact reports detailing environmental benefits.
9. Do you offer services for businesses or large organizations?
Yes! We are experts in corporate electronics recycling, we handle all types of electronic recycling needs.
10. How can I be sure my electronics are recycled responsibly?
We provide detailed reporting and certification of destruction, are held accountable by Responsible Recycling Certification bodies and we are ensuring your assets are recycled ethically and responsibly every step of the way.
11. Do you have a process for employees to buy back electronics at a discounted price?
Yes! We offer buy-back programs for employees to purchase electronics at discounted rates.
Definitions
Certificate of Destruction:
A document verifying that your electronic devices have been securely destroyed, ensuring data security and responsible disposal.
Basic / Complimentary Asset Report:
A summary of the items recycled, detailing quantities and types of assets processed.
Landfill Free:
A commitment to ensuring no electronic waste is sent to landfills. All materials are either repurposed or recycled responsibly.
R2V3 Vendor:
A recycler certified under the R2V3 standard, which ensures responsible recycling practices and data protection measures.
Authorized Microsoft Refurbisher (MAR):
A vendor authorized by Microsoft to refurbish and resell computers with genuine Microsoft software.
ITAD (IT Asset Disposition):
A process for safely and securely disposing of outdated or unwanted IT equipment.
Liquidation vs Recycling:

Liquidation: Selling assets for reuse or resale.

Recycling: Breaking down assets to recover raw materials and reduce environmental impact.
Lease Buyout:
An option to purchase leased equipment at the end of a lease agreement, often at a reduced cost.
Shredding vs Wiping:

Shredding: Physically destroying hard drives and devices.

Wiping: Erasing data from devices using software to ensure complete data removal.
